Best IT Company in Ranchi

If you searched for the best IT company in Ranchi, you should know there is no official ranking you can rely on, and a company that calls itself number one is only describing itself. So “best” has to mean something you can check: the company fits the job you have now, it is a registered business, it can show work that is already running, it names the people who will train your staff, and it still answers after the system goes live.

This article helps you decide what “best” means for your situation and collect that evidence in a few calls and one office visit. At the end we explain how MATROP PRIVATE LIMITED helps and why we think we should be your IT company. You can check us against the same list.

Start with your situation, not with the company

No company is the right choice for every buyer. A school moving fee records off registers before admissions, a clinic whose patients cannot find its phone number, and an office whose network drops every afternoon need different help. Before calling anyone, write one sentence about the job: what is going wrong, who suffers from it daily, and by when it must be fixed. That sentence decides which evidence matters most.

Your situationWhat “best” should mean hereEvidence that matters most
Fees, stock, patients or salaries are still on paper or spreadsheetsSoftware your staff can learn, set up on your own recordsA live system of the same kind, and who will train your staff
Customers cannot find or reach you from their phoneA website that works on a phone with a visible call or WhatsApp buttonLive websites they built, and who updates them after launch
Computers, printers or the office network keep failingProper installation and an annual maintenance arrangementWho visits, how faults are reported, what the AMC covers and excludes
Parents, patients or customers need regular messagesSMS or WhatsApp messages sent from your records, not typed by handIn whose name the sender ID and templates are registered
A department or institution needs its IT run day to dayA managed IT service with responsibilities written downA named contact and a list of what is monitored, maintained and backed up

Four pieces of evidence to ask every company for

Once you know the job, ask every company for the same four things. A serious company will not be offended. If you have not yet decided whom to call, our worksheet for building a shortlist of Ranchi IT companies explains where to find names, and the guide on how to choose an IT company in Ranchi covers the wider decision.

1. A registered company you can look up

Ask for the legal name and the Corporate Identification Number (CIN), and look the company up yourself on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs website, which shows its status and registered office. The same legal name should appear on the quotation, the agreement, the invoice and the bank account you pay into. A GSTIN on the invoice can be checked on the GST portal.

2. Work that is already running

Slides and screenshots prove little. Ask to see a system in daily use at an organisation like yours, or open one of their live websites on your own phone during the meeting. Ask what that client’s staff do with it and what had to change after go-live.

3. The people who will train your staff

A system that nobody at the counter can use is a failed project, however good the demo looked. Ask who will train your fee clerk, store keeper or receptionist, whether training uses your own data, and what happens when a new employee joins later.

4. Support after go-live

Real questions come up in the first month after go-live. Ask how you report a problem, who keeps the backups, and how a change is agreed and charged. For hardware, ask what the annual maintenance contract covers and excludes. Get the answers in the proposal, not only in the meeting.

An evidence checklist you can print

Fill one copy per company. A warning sign does not always mean dishonesty, but each one is a question to settle before paying.

CheckHow to do it yourselfWarning sign
Legal name and CINSearch on the MCA website and compare with the quotationDifferent names on the quotation and the invoice, or no company name at all
Payment accountRead the account name on the invoice before payingAdvance requested in a personal account or personal UPI ID
OfficeVisit during working hoursOnly a mobile number, no address you can visit
Live workOpen a live system or website during the meetingEvery example is “confidential” and nothing can be shown
Training and supportTrainer, contact method and change process written in the proposal“We will show your staff once” and support described only as “always available”
OwnershipAsk who holds the domain, hosting login and admin passwordThe vendor keeps them and will not put your name on them

An example: one dealer, two quotations

Think of a building-material dealer in Ranchi with a billing counter at the shop, a godown a few kilometres away, and six computers on a cheap router that drops several times a day. The owner wants GST billing, godown stock visible from the shop, and a network that stays up.

The first company sends a one-line figure for “software plus networking”, asks for an advance on a personal UPI ID, and shows a video when asked for a demo. The second gives a legal name that matches the MCA record, shows a retail and distribution system running at another business, names who will train the billing staff and store keeper, and writes the network installation and AMC as separate lines. The second is the better choice for this dealer even before prices are compared, because only its quotation can be checked. If the first later supplies the same detail, the comparison becomes fair again.

This example is illustrative. It does not describe a real client.

When you may not need an IT company, or MATROP is not the right fit

  • A single purchase or repair: to buy one laptop or fix one printer, a good local computer shop is the simpler choice.
  • A large ERP brand already chosen: its own authorised implementation partner is usually the right route. We would only fit the work around it, such as the website, messaging or hardware.
  • Daily on-site staff in another town: MATROP’s office is in Ranchi. We work with clients across India, but if you need someone at your premises every day elsewhere, ask about it directly rather than assume it.

How MATROP helps

MATROP PRIVATE LIMITED was incorporated in Jharkhand in 2016 (CIN U74999JH2016PTC008996). Our office is in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The work we take on matches the situations in the first table:

  • Records off paper: ready ERP products for schools, hospitals, pharmacies, shops, distributors, restaurants, hostels, coaching centres, payroll and attendance, and custom software when a product does not fit.
  • Being found online: business websites, e-commerce stores and website maintenance.
  • Messages from your records: bulk SMS and the WhatsApp Business API, with SEO, social media and digital marketing as separate services.
  • Hardware and networks: installation of servers, computers and networks, annual maintenance, managed IT service for departments and enterprises, and firewall and network security work.

We follow the evidence list ourselves: the legal name on every document, payment only into the company account of MATROP PRIVATE LIMITED, a written scope, training for the people who will use the system, and support on WhatsApp and email after go-live. Two client projects, for a recycling business and a plastic furniture manufacturer, are in our published case studies.

Why MATROP should be your IT company

We would rather be checked than believed. Search our CIN on the MCA website. Visit the Ranchi office between 10 am and 7 pm, Monday to Saturday. Ask to see a system like the one you need, and ask for your trainer to be named in the proposal. Then put our answers beside the others.

We think we pass that check. We have been a registered company since 2016 and have served more than 600 clients by our own count. One team handles software, websites, messaging and hardware, so when a problem sits between the website and the billing software, you call one company instead of watching two vendors blame each other. Each job is a separate line in the quotation, and the people who set up your system stay available after it goes live. If you expect the work to grow beyond this first job, read what to look for in an IT company that can grow with you.

Call or WhatsApp 9430106005 with the one sentence you wrote about your job. We will tell you honestly whether it is work we should take on.

Frequently asked questions

There is no official ranking you can rely on, and a company that calls itself number one is only describing itself. Judge each company on things you can check: fit for your job, a registered business, work already running, named trainers and support after go-live. MATROP Private Limited does not rank itself and asks to be checked on the same points.

Stop and ask questions if the quotation and invoice show different names, if the advance is requested in a personal bank account or personal UPI ID, or if there is only a mobile number and no office you can visit. Other warning signs are every example being 'confidential', support described only as 'always available', and a vendor that keeps your domain, hosting and admin logins in its own name. A warning sign is not proof of dishonesty, but each one should be settled before you pay.

Ask to see a system in daily use at an organisation like yours, or open one of their live websites on your own phone during the meeting. Ask what that client's staff do with it and what had to change after go-live, because slides and screenshots prove little. MATROP's published case studies cover two client projects in Ranchi: The Kabadi (Junk Solutions Private Limited) and Eleplasht.

A system that the counter staff cannot use is a failed project, however good the demo looked. Ask who will train your fee clerk, store keeper or receptionist, whether training uses your own data, and what happens when a new employee joins. MATROP invites buyers to ask for their trainer to be named in the proposal and to get support details in writing.

For a single purchase or repair, such as one laptop or one printer, a good local computer shop is simpler. If you have already chosen a large ERP brand, its own authorised implementation partner is usually the right route, and MATROP would only fit work around it, such as the website, messaging or hardware. MATROP's office is in Ranchi, Jharkhand, so if you need someone at your premises every day in another town, ask about it directly rather than assume it.
